Wendy is announced as runner-up in the jewellery competition... Nicolette deliberately lets slip that Remi's memories might not be returning and that Dex
did a school project about the marriage proposal... Remi admits that she wants her life back... Nell freaks out about how quickly things are moving between
her and JJ... Nell tells JJ that she's going to Colac for a few days... Jane and Nicolette realise that they were right to tell Aaron to go to Adelaide...
Aaron follows Holly and Andrew and sees them meeting up... Aaron tells Rhett he was right about Andrew and Holly secretly hooking up... Andrew begs Aaron
not to say anything... Andrew snaps at Cara about her attempts to investigate a series of local building site thefts... As Aaron, Andrew and Holly discuss
their shared secret, Wendy comes by and overhears them talking, wanting to know what it's about...
As Wendy waits for an explanation, Holly, Andrew and Aaron all look at each other, until eventually Aaron lies that one of the other contestants in the
jewellery competition demanded a recount. Wendy asks if this is bad news, but Aaron tells her that the second count came out the same and that she's still
the runner-up. Andrew quickly adds that he and Holly heard about what was going on and they all agreed not to tell Wendy about it. She accepts this
explanation and checks if they're ready to start setting up for the street party. Once she's gone, Holly and Andrew thank Aaron for keeping quiet but
he insists that he only did it for Wendy and Max's sakes.

At no. 24, Remi and Cara have joined Nicolette and Jane to prepare food for the party - as Remi and Jane go outside to start the barbecue, Nic says that
Cara seems like she's in a good place with Remi. Cara says that they are, but she doesn't understand why Nic told Remi about Dex's assignment, as she
thought they'd agreed to keep it a secret. Nic says that, if she'd known that, she wouldn't have said anything - Cara accepts this, but doesn't look entirely
convinced. As Jane walks back in and overhears them, she also looks concerned about Nic's latest games.
At no. 32, Max is in the back garden, looking at some earrings he's bought for Holly. Sadie arrives and, as she's chatting to Max, Taye gets out of the pool
and she's quickly distracted by him. Max soon notices and, once Sadie has gone, he reports back to Taye that she was checking him out, which Taye is very
happy to hear.

Out on Ramsay Street, Aaron and Rhett are setting up the tables for the party and Aaron is explaining to his boyfriend that Andrew and Holly are both
insisting that their brief fling is over. Their chat quickly ends as Wendy walks over with a gift for Aaron - she thanks him for being such a great
neighbour and co-worker. Andrew, meanwhile, watches them from a distance before heading over to no. 30.
At no. 30, JJ is showing Cara the shirt he's planning to wear for the party - and Nell's homecoming - and she tells him that he looks 'cute as a button'.
He smiles and goes back to his room, as Andrew knocks on the door and apologises to Cara for the way he spoke to her earlier. She grudgingly accepts and
tells Andrew that she's concerned about the Linwells because they terrorised her family, so Andrew tells her to take it to their boss, Tony. Cara says that
she tried but he wasn't very receptive, so Andrew tells her to leave it with him.
 ..
Back on the street, the neighbours are all starting to gather, and Aaron is concerned as he spots the looks between Holly and Andrew. Holly is soon
distracted when Max presents her with the earrings. She's delighted and, when Wendy spots them, she awkwardly jokes that Max should give Andrew a few
pointers on how to make a girl happy. Max calls Aaron and Rhett over a photo with him and Holly, before Holly quickly makes her excuses to go, saying
that she needs to get some mint from the garden for the cocktails. Aaron then tells Rhett that he needs to go and have one final word with Holly, so he
chases after her.
Later, Toadie and Nell arrive at the party, with JJ delighted to see his girlfriend, suggesting that they have some time alone later. She agrees to this,
but shares a look with her dad which suggests that something else is going on.

Aaron finds Holly in the back garden of no. 28, where she's drinking water and trying to calm down. She sees Aaron and tells him that, in time, things will
go back to normal and that she knows that she and Andrew have done a terrible thing. Aaron reminds her that Andrew is married and that wedding vows have to
count for something. As he points out that he still wears his wedding ring, Holly says that maybe he shouldn't, just as Rhett walks in and overhears. As
Holly apologises and tells Aaron that he has to trust her, she goes inside. Rhett then asks Aaron if that conversation gave his any reassurance - Aaron
isn't sure, but Rhett then asks him about the wedding ring.
Later, Aaron and Rhett are talking about the ring, and Aaron admits that he's been thinking about taking it off and, whilst he's very happy and excited
about his future with Rhett, he doesn't want to erase his past either - and that's what the ring represents. Rhett understands and says that maybe when
Isla is older, Aaron can give it to her. As Aaron goes to take it off, Rhett stops him and says that he would never ask him to do that, suggesting that he
could wear it on a different finger instead. He tells Aaron that he would never want to erase a single thing about him and they kiss.

As the party continues, Aaron and Rhett return to the group, hand in hand, whilst Taye goes over to Sadie and asks if she wants to take him on at a game
of table football. She turns him down and walks away, but Taye is pleased that he slowly seems to be winning her back. Aaron and Rhett are happy to spot
Toadie in the crowd and he reveals his t-shirt printed with fake muscles as a tribute to Aaron. Karl then approaches Toadie and asks if everything's ok with
Nell, who seems very subdued since her return - Toadie insists that she's fine.
At no. 24, Cara and Remi come in from the back garden with more food to take outside. As Remi leaves, Cara has an awkward encounter with Nicolette and,
noticing the tension, asks her if a hug would help. Nic bluntly turns her down and tells her to go and look after her wife. Once an upset Cara has left,
Jane asks her daughter if she and Cara have had a fight, as that was the second time she'd snapped at her that day. Nic insists that everything is fine,
accusing her mum of giving her 'the third degree' but Jane thinks that Nic is going to need her friends once Aaron has gone. When Nic says that Cara is
getting close to Remi again so she won't have time for her friends, Jane realises that Nic is jealous, something that Nic firmly denies before walking out.
 ..
At no. 32, Aaron walks into the back garden, smiling as he remembers living there with David. Leo joins him, and they both admit that they've been thinking
about David a lot. Aaron says that it's going to feel very different, being based away from Erinsborough without David, and Leo tells him that, if Isla ever
needs anything, to give him a call. Nicolette then comes marching in, saying that she needs to hide from her mum, as she's being nosy. Aaron and Leo are
very amused by this, pointing out that Nic is soon going to be living on her own with Jane, without Aaron as a buffer. He reminds her that she'll still
have Sam, but Nic says that she really needs a whole wall of people to protect her. As Aaron says that he's going to miss this place, Nic warns him not to
start crying, as if he sets her off, she'll never be able to stop.
As the party continues, Aaron looks around at his friends and neighbours enjoying themselves, spending time chatting to each of them and playing with
Isla. He then gets a concerned look on his face as she spots Holly and Andrew longingly looking at each other again.
 ..
Aaron finds Karl in the back garden at no. 28, and asks if he has time for a quick chat. He explains that, he doesn't want to tread of anyone's toes,
but he's a bit worried about Holly. Karl's confused so, trying to pick his words carefully, Aaron suggests that she might be addicted to drama. Karl
still isn't sure what Aaron is getting at, pointing out that Holly seems to be happier than she's been in a while with work and her relationship with
Max, but Aaron suggests that she might be able to throw a big spanner in the works. Trying to avoid mentioning exactly what's going on, Aaron asks Karl
to keep a close eye on his daughter.
A little later, back out on the street, Paul gets everyone's attention as he makes a toast to Aaron:
"I'm a guy who tends to see the good in people (!). With his guy, all I saw was an oiled-up meathead, belly dancing nearly naked on my bar. You know,
even though he sullied that establishment, he did right by a much more important one - my family. You see, what he brought to that, Aaron made David the happiest man in the world because
he's a good, kind, honest bloke. And a wonderful father as well, that's why I have nothing but love and respect for him. You know, you might have married
into this clan but I actually see you as a son and I always will."
Everyone then raises their glasses to Aaron and Rhett, before Aaron makes a speech of his own:
"What can I say? My time on Ramsay Street, I have had some of the happiest memories of my life here. And yeah, some of the most painful. But you know what,
with every smile and every laugh and every tear, I have had the most amazing people just smiling and laughing and crying with me. Yeah, yeah, this will always
be my home, no matter what. You know what, I've just had the most amazing idea, why don't we rename this place Aaronsborough. Why not, huh? To Aaronsborough!"
As everyone else joins in the toast, Nell, who had been becoming increasingly emotional during the speech, rushes off into no. 22, with JJ going after her.
Isla then rushes over for a hug with Aaron and he tells her that he loves her.

 ..
Inside no. 22, JJ finds Nell, still tearful, and says that he understands that she's upset about Aaron, so they can just stay inside rather than rejoin the
party. Nell then takes a deep breath and tells JJ that she likes him and cares about him so much but, while she was in Colac, she realised that something
had been building inside of her for a while. JJ is confused as Nell tells him that he's her best friend and she cares for him, but her feelings towards him
aren't romantic. JJ asks if he did something wrong, but Nell tells him that she's just come to realise that they're not meant to be a couple. JJ looks
devastated as Nell tells him that she hopes that they can stay friends and he then turns and leaves without saying a word.

 ..
Back on the street, Aaron is jokingly trying to put Isla in the back of the car with his bags but she tells him that she has to go on the plane. He tells
her that he'll see her soon, then pulls Jane in for a hug with them, as Nicolette stands back and watches. Aaron then goes to Nic for a hug, but she says
that if she does, it means he'll be going. With Isla's encouragement, they hug and he tells her to look after Sam and to hug Isla 80 times a day, as he'll
be back to check. After handing Isla back over to her mum, Aaron hugs Leo one last time then goes to get in the car, waving to everyone as they wave and
cheer back. As they go, Paul is very happy to receive a message on his phone, telling Leo and Krista that Elle has quit her job in New York and is flying
back to Australia, arriving the following morning...
