When Krista Sinclair decided to use her family connections to take on a job at Lassiters Hotel, part-owner Paul Robinson was furious and became determined to get rid of her by proving that she wasn't up to the job. When he heard that tricky regular customer Belinda Jorgensen wanted to hold her birthday party at the hotel, he decided to give the task to Krista, telling her that she needed to show her ideas to Belinda later that day. Aware that she was being set up to fail, particularly as Paul appeared to have deleted all details of Belinda's past events from the hotel records, Krista decided to play to her strengths - her wealthy family. She arranged to meet up with Belinda, regaling her with tales from events she'd attended with her father, and proposing that they theme the birthday party as a red carpet event. Belinda was very impressed with Krista's efforts and suggested that they should meet up for lunch soon.
