When Chris Kingsley came from the Erinsborough Council to perform a building inspection at the General Store, recently purchased by Paul Robinson, Paul was confident that it would pass, since it had been open for only a year and had passed inspection back then. But when Chris then presented a long list of problems, and explained that he would be back in touch in a few days, Paul panicked and told former owner Lou Carpenter that he was prepared to sell it back to him, unaware that he had been double crossed and the building inspection was a sham, arranged by Lou and his girlfriend Mishka to get the business back.
