Having decided to press harrassment charges against surgeon Martin Cook, nurse Dee Bliss was formally interviewed by Bill Mott. After taking Dee's statement and warning her not to discuss the case with anyone, he checked that she definitely wanted to pursue the matter, before interviewing Martin. Martin lied that it had been Dee who had harrassed him and, with no witnesses to back up either claim, Bill was forced to conclude that it had simply been a case of misunderstanding, and that both parties would be monitored for one month. But Dee's ex-boyfriend, Dr Darcy Tyler was convinced of her innocence and, pretending to be asleep in his hospital bed, he managed to get a recording of Martin admitting to what he'd done. Martin was forced to come clean to Bill, and was transferred to another hospital and forced to apologise to Dee.
