Cheryl Kratz married railman, Maurie Stark, after the death of her father Hector, and for several years, the pair lived with Cheryl's mother, Marlene, until mother and daughter fell out and the young couple moved out. The couple had four children together, but sadly Maurie died not long after the birth of youngest son, Brett, which left Cheryl raising the children single handed.
