Located next to the Men's Shed, You-Store-It Self Storage is Erinsborough's monthly storage hire service, offering individual containers with an electricity supply.

In 2011, Karl and Susan Kennedy visited the container that they had been renting for several years to store some old childhood belongings of their children, Mal, Libby and Billy, however upon trying to leave discovered that they had been accidentally trapped by friend, Toadfish Rebecchi who had parked in front of the door and was subsequently blocked in by another car. Trying to pass the time, they looked through their boxes, finding a 10 year old bottle of wine and an old slide projector, amongst other things. The chance to reminisce seemed to help the estranged couple settle their recent differences, leading to a kiss, however whilst Karl initially saw this as a chance of reconciliation, looking at his wife's face he soon realised it was goodbye, with Susan announcing it was time for her to move out of their marital home.

The following year, having been staying with Toadie for several months, Susan finally rented her own apartment, visiting the container to collect a few items with which to furnish and equip her new home, also taking another chance to look at old photos and reflect on the relationship that spanned the greatest part of her life.
