Born in Brisbane, Queensland on 1st March 1986, Kathryn Beck attended Alexandra Hills State High School, and later went on to study drama at the Queensland University of Technology. Following a guest role as Lily Nelson in Home & Away in 2007, she went on to appear in All Saints and in both series of the drama East of Everything, as Lizzy Dellora. Kathryn's films roles have included Dale Kelly in 2009's Subdivision and the lead role of Dee O'Keefe in 2010's The Little Things.

Following guest roles in television series Camp and Puberty Blues, Kathyrn joined the cast of Neighbours in 2013, spending three months playing twisted Gem Reeves, the cousin of regular characters Georgia and Toadie. Last appearing on screen as Gem in January 2014, Kathryn then went on to film roles in the TV series Wentworth and the movie Super Awesome.
