Born 23rd January 1974 in Sydney, Australia, to a Greek cellist father and an English kindergarten teacher mother, Rebekah Elmaloglou was raised in Sydney and, following several acting roles, including Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome and A Country Practice, left school at the age of 15. At the end of 1993, after completing filming with Home & Away, Rebekah appeared again in a guest role in A Country Practice, and visited the UK to appear in the pantomime Aladdin, and in 1994, she appeared in the film The Sum Of Us and made a guest appearance in the drama series G.P. Rebekah went on to make guest appearances in Australian dramas including Pacific Drive, Water Rats and All Saints, and also made guest returns to Home & Away in 2002, 2003 and 2005. In 2013, following a break from acting, Rebekah returned to television in the regular role of Terese Willis in Neighbours, first appearing on-screen in May 2013.

In 2008, Rebekah gave birth to her son, Kai. She and Kai's father, Kane Baker, were married in Byron Bay in 2009.
