Born 17th October 1977, Benjamin Hart was raise in England, attending school in Surrey began his career as a model for companies and magazines including Harrods and The Observer. He also featured in music videos for artists including Madonna and The Spice Girls (as one of the policemen in their Wannabe video) and in a range of television commercials.

In 2005, Benjamin’s film and television career started to take off, presenting for the BBC's Clothes Show Live and with an appearance in the US reality series American Princess, before in 2006 he filmed two acting roles, as Lars in the film Mr Right and as tattoo artist Foz in British soap Hollyoaks. The role of Foz lasted for six months before the character left the country at the end of 2006. A few months later, Benjamin was in Australia when his good friend Dannii Minogue suggested he get an agent there and within days he was auditioning for Neighbours, where he won the role of laid-back builder Adam Rhodes.

Only four months into his Neighbours role, it was announced that Benji would be leaving the show, following the departure of his on-screen love interest, Nicky Whelan (Pepper Steiger). Following Pepper's departure, Adam appeared briefly on a few occasions, before making his final appearance in December 2007. In November 2007, Benji's daughter, Isabella, was born and he has remained in Australia to be closer to her and to seek out further television work.
