Reference > A to Z of Neighbours: Letter J

The A to Z of Neighbours is intended to act as an encyclopaedia of everything to do with the show. These are the entries beginning with the letter J. If you feel that we're missing anything, please let us know, either by contacting us or in the relevant thread on the Message Board.

Jail: Many residents have spent time in jail, including Henry Ramsay, Darcy Tyler and Lou Carpenter.

Japan:Ren and Luke left Erinsborough in 1995, for Japan, where he had been offered work teaching. Gaby Willis also spent time there, completing a business course.

Jarrett: Melissa Jarrett was a schoolfriend of Todd Landers and Cody Willis. Although her family appeared occassionally, she was the only member to be a regular cast member.

Jelly belly: Lou Carpenter's nickname for Harold Bishop, which dates back to their days at school together.

Jelly wrestling: Estranged couple Amy Greenwood and Lance Wilkinson found themselves competing at this bizarre sport during a UniFM contest.

Jilted: Both Annalise Hartman and Steph Scully have found themselves jilted at the altar, the latter because the groom was in love with her sister, and the former because the groom had decided to enter the priesthood.

Judo: Harold Bishop, Tess Bell, Lance Wilkinson and Toadie Rebecchi took judo lessons together in 2000.

Juicy gossip: What many of the neighbours thrive on.

Juvenile detention: Residents including Darren Stark, Michael Martin and Dylan Timmins have spent time in juvenile detention centres.
