Karl turns the chessboard towards him and reminisces that they move is something his father always did to him as well. Susan offers to cook some brain food and Karl asks for a three-cheese omelette with bacon. As Susan prepares to cook, she assures him that using Zeke as they have has been as rewarding for Tom & Zeke as it has for him. Susan opens the fridge to find Tom has placed some old vinyl records in there but lies to Karl that her exclamation was down to only having two cheeses to put into his omelette, protecting him from the truth.
