In early 2009, Zeke Kinski was taken in by a man named Phil Andrews when he developed amnesia after a rafting accident. Zeke had no memory of who he was, but Phil convinced him that he was Trent Andrews, Phil’s son. The real Trent had died in a tragic car accident along with his mother, Lisa, with Phil at wheel. Phil was struggling to come to terms with the deaths, hence his attempt to replace Trent with Zeke. However, around 2 months later, Zeke was tracked down and returned to his family.

Lisa Andrews was the wife of Phil Andrews, the man who took in Zeke Kinski after he lost his memory in a rafting accident. She had died some time previously in a car accident along with their teenage son, Trent. Phil, struggling to come to terms with the deaths of his wife and son, saw a resemblance between Trent and amnesiac Zeke, and convinced Zeke that he was in fact Trent, and they lived at father and son for around 2 months until Zeke was tracked down and returned home, whilst Phil was arrested.
