Dave Gorman 2001

When young Dave Gorman had nowhere else to go, he turned to the Salvation Army and specifically, Harold Bishop, who gave him a bed for the night. Harold’s foster son, Paul McClain wasn’t impressed with this, or with Harold’s talk of turning his home into a halfway house and was hostile towards Dave the next morning. However, when Harold left the two boys together, they bonded over computer games and Dave admitted that he was homeless due to his father’s alcoholism, something which Paul could relate to and which led to him reassessing his thoughts on Harold’s halfway house.
