On Boxing Day 2003, Harriet Long was the celebrant at the unusual wedding of Lou Carpenter and Trixie Tucker. The wedding actually took place on stage at Her Majesty’s Theatre in Melbourne, since Trixie had spent much of her life on the stage and had always dreamed of a theatre wedding. The ceremony ran smoothly, until Lou’s former flame Valda Sheergold made a scene when Harriet asked for any objections.

Notes: Marita Wilcox played Dorothy Rivers in 2000 and returned to Neighbours in 2004, as Mary Bates.
