Mother to Paul McClain’s girlfriend Cheyenne, and wife to the unscrupulous businessman Gareth, Dorothy Rivers was happy to get involved in local community projects, particularly the local football team. When the team decided to hold a slave auction to raise money, Dorothy agreed to act as host and the night went well, but when it was later revealed that Gareth had been blackmailing high school principal Susan Kennedy, the Rivers family started to take more of a back seat in local fundraising.
