Bernard Seaton 1993

Whilst selling his home, 26 Ramsay Street, Jim Robinson found himself frustrated with the rude people who came to view. He thought things had changed when polite Bernard Seaton turned up, until Bernard asked Jim what the asking price was. When Jim told him that he was looking for $180,000, Bernard said that he would like to pay $140,000. When Jim pointed out that $140,000 wasn’t a very reasonable offer, Bernard upped it to $142,000 and Jim realised that he was getting nowhere.
