In mid-1993, Paul Robinson returned to Erinsborough for his gran, Helen's birthday party, and he committed fraud, leaving Lassiter's manager Philip Martin to take the blame. Paul contacted wife Chrissie, telling her and son Andrew to meet him in South America. He remained there for a few years, though upon his return to Australia was sent to jail.
