Recap
• Michelle specially asks Lyn to come and see her off at the airport

No 26 - Kitchen: Steph greets Lyn as Lyn finishes baking and asks how the airport went, assuring her that Michelle will be fine. She then mentions that she and Max are going to a winery for the day, picking up that Lyn is still uncomfortable about the relationship. Steph tells her that everything will be fine and hurries off, Lyn looking unconvinced.

No 32 - Hallway/Living Room: Steph surprises Max when he opens the door, and he brings her in before remarking on her bringing no luggage. It then transpires that he booked a room at a Bed and Breakfast and forgot to tell her, though she is excited nonetheless. Summer hurries in with a camcorder for them to film the trip before Boyd enters, complaining of a headache. Steph watches him carefully as Max goes to look him over.

No 24 - Living Room: Harold watches in shocked silence as Gino returns with Valda’s poodles, now with bows as a new look. On the phone to Valda, he mutters that Harold looks left out while Harold can do no more than stare at the dogs.

No 32 - Living Room: Boyd asks Max and Steph not to fuss over him when Max leaves to get painkillers. Steph tells Boyd that headaches can come from stress, suggesting he stop getting wound up about her and Max. She says that she cares about all of them before saying that they do not have to stay at the winery for the night; if Boyd wishes, she will stay at home with them. When Max returns, Boyd says that he is feeling better and Steph tells Max that she has things to do the next day so they should not stay the night. Max has no problem and leaves to cancel the reservation, leaving Boyd satisfied at Steph being his doormat.

No 30 - Living Room: Connor joins Toadie and Bob on the sofa, reporting that Michelle got away OK before hinting that that he cried a lot. Toadie mentions that Dee is seeing someone new and so he can relate. They both decide to wallow in a manly way with pizza, beer and TV; Connor suggests that doing it in their underwear would cement the occasion.

Winery: In the country, Steph and Max are having a good time tasting wine samples. When Steph suggests they buy a bottle, Max casually leans in before she asks him to chase her and runs off; he catches her and they kiss.

Rasmsay Street: Harold is trimming a rose bush when Toadie greets him. Harold then begins a rant about Gino being an unbearable housemate. Toadie gathers that Harold is uptight about Gino being too much like him and suggests Harold pull out all the stops to drive him away. Harold considers the idea and chuckles at the thought.

Vineyard: Steph apologises for making Max lose his keys while she was tickling him, leaving them stranded until the car company sorts it out. When Max notes how seemingly eager she is to find another way home, she explains that she promised Boyd as a compromise. Max says that there is nothing they can do, and so Steph finally gives in to spending the night.

No 26 - Living Room: Lyn, on the phone to Steph, assures her that it is no trouble for her to look after Boyd and Summer for the night.

Winery: Steph assures Max that Lyn has no problem, though she remains dubious about the kids’ reaction until he suggests they head to their room.

No 24 - Kitchen/Living Room: Harold is attempting to drive Gino away, purposely littering the counter, blaring the stereo and TV and dirtying his shoes. Gino returns with the poodles and the plan backfires when he decides to loosen up also with a TV dinner.

No 32 - Living Room: Boyd returns home as Summer and Lyn get settled for a night in, objecting to what they are watching on TV and complaining about Lyn serving food from Claire’s favourite dish. He goes to his room in a huff, leaving Lyn anxious.

No 24 - Kitchen/Living Room: Entering in a dressing gown and vest, Harold tells Gino that he wants to watch The Cannonball Run, a fast-paced car movie. This approach again fails when Gino says how good it is to see the “real” Harold and runs off to change into his own loungewear.

No 30 - Living Room: Connor and Toadie are wallowing in front of the TV, toasting the House of Trouser as men-only territory. As Connor flicks through the TV channels, the remote’s battery stops working, so they go across the road to borrow some from Harold.

No 24 - Living Room/Doorstep: Gino joins Harold, dressed like him when Connor and Toadie enter, shocked at what they are seeing. Harold gives them the batteries and they leave, saying that they cannot end up like them.

Bed & Breakfast: Steph joins Max in front of the fire after their spa, and they kiss before seeing that there is only one chocolate left. She kisses him while he eats it, and they laugh before he thanks her for making him happy again.
