Recap
• Jack watches Lori and Taj messing around at the pool
• Toadie suggests that Harold do all he can to drive Gino away

No 28 - Living Room: Taj and Lori are listening to music when Taj asks her to dance with him. She laughs at how silly he looks when Susan enters to get her novel. Going back to her room, she watches them laughing together.

No 32 - Living Room: Next day, Summer leads Max and Steph in as they return home. She starts talking about their families celebrating Christmas together when Boyd enters. Max and Steph cannot help but notice how distant and unhappy he is that they spent the night away from home.

The Coffee Shop - Kitchen: Lou enters as Harold prepares lunch and asks about Gino. Harold then begins an outburst of complaints and asks Lou what he should do about the situation.

No 28 - Dining Table: Lori is talking to Susan about schoolwork, excited about getting back into routine.

No 32 - Living Room: Boyd is playing a computer game while Steph and Summer look at magazines, remaining distant when they try to include him. Max enters, about to leave for work, and Boyd watches disgustedly as he kisses Steph goodbye. With Max and Summer out of the room, Steph gives in and apologises to Boyd about having to stay in the countryside last night. Summer listens from the hall as he replies coolly.

No 24 - Living Room: Gino pointedly moves Lou’s cup and saucer from the coffee table back to their coaster, which Lou notices. He whispers to Harold to give him and Gino some space so he can see if Gino is actually neurotic or just acting in front of Harold. Harold does so and angrily comes back when he finds that Gino used his rare organic shampoo on the poodles…Gino leaves to return the dogs to Valda, and Lou announces that he has a plan.

Park: Jack is teaching Summer some football skills when Taj joins them, he and Jack being cool to each other. Summer asks if Taj can join Jack in coaching the team, and neither boy is thrilled at the idea.

Lou's Place: Steph and Max are sitting together, and Max says that they cannot bend over backwards just to satisfy Boyd, promising to have a talk with him later.

No 24 - Living Room/Kitchen: Returning with the groceries, Harold suggests that Gino wash up after dinner rather than help prepare the food. He hurries to the kitchen and starts unpacking all the meat he has bought.

No 32 - Living Room: Boyd greets Max as he comes home, gathering that he wants to talk. Max says that Boyd needs to show both him and Steph some respect, and Boyd begrudgingly tells him that he is fine with it. He heads out looking sulky.

The Coffee Shop: Jack and Taj are discussing a coaching programme, Taj making it clear that he is doing it for Summer. Jack mentions that it is good that Taj and Lori are close friends, and Taj says that if she needs him he will be there, hinting that Jack was not.

No 24 - Living Room/Kitchen: Gino is chasing the dogs into the kitchen where he catches sight of the meat that Harold is cooking for them. Harold says that he loves an occasional binge, horrifying Gino, who threatens to move out if Harold takes even one bite. Harold picks up a sausage and stares at it, facing the dilemma.

No 32 - Living Room: Steph, Max and Summer setting up a game of Monopoly when Max mentions that Boyd and Daniel are working on a forgotten assignment. Steph, and particularly Summer, look doubtful.

Lou's Place: Harold joins Susan and Lou with containers of leftover meat. He explains that the plan was a success, though no-one knows what will become of Stella and Blanche after Gino abandoned them at Harold’s.

The Coffee Shop: Summer finds Boyd and scolds him for lying about the homework. She demands to know why he wants to ruin things with the family, threatening to never forgive him if he tries anything.

Lassiter's Complex: Lori is walking with her frame, just as Jack and Taj leave The Coffee Shop and see her. Taj excitedly runs up and praises her progress, watched by a jealous Jack. They mention the coaching and she is impressed that they have seemingly made up, before Taj leaves on an errand. Jack suggestively comments on how close she and Taj have become, and Lori immediately berates him for assuming things - just because Jack was able to move on so quickly after two years does not mean that she will do the same. She doubts whether she will care about anyone else like she did for him.
