When Susan Kennedy decided to apply for the vacant position of principal at Erinsborough High, having previously held the position between 1998 and 2002, she was accompanied to her interview by her friend Janelle Timmins. As Susan put her answers to the interview panel, including Martin Tilson, Janelle burst into the room, telling the panel that they must find someone with integrity for the job, before “spotting” Susan and announcing that she’d be perfect. Martin wasn’t fooled, however, and explained that he’d seen Susan and Janelle arrive together, before telling her that they knew exactly what sort of person they wanted as principal.
