An old friend and former colleague of the late Alex Kinski at Eden Hills University, Brian Tyler saw Alex’s daughter, Rachel at a uni open day with her boyfriend, Ringo Brown. Ringo was adamant that he didn’t want to attend university, but Rachel asked him to join her there anyway, as she wanted to visit the memorial plaque for her dad. Brian spotted her there and later caught up with her at the General Store, where Rachel explained that she was hoping to study arts commerce or arts law if she got the marks – Brian said he would very much look forward to teaching her, as long as she was a better squash player than her father!
